ISLAMABAD -- Leader of Opposition Shehbaz Sharif will be produced again in the National Assembly under the production order, as the PTI government is planning to summon a regular session of the lower house of the parliament by the end of this month.

The main opposition party (PML-N) will once again hold a meeting with Deputy Speaker Qasim Ali Suri and other senior members of PTI for issuing the production order of the leader of opposition in the Nation Assembly.

The production order to attend the proceedings of the house will this time be produced by deputy speaker of the National Assembly as the speaker Asad Qaiser has left abroad for a couple of days.

Shehbaz Sharif is expected to deliver a speech on his current ordeal related to his arrest by the NAB authorities, background discussion with the opposition parties' members left this impression.

Shehbaz, who is Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly as well as president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz is currently in the NAB custody in connection with Ashiana Housing Scheme scam.

Under the production order from the speaker, he was brought to the house the other day (Wednesday) to attend the session called on requisition submitted by the opposition. The production orders for Shehbaz Shrif were received by NAB.

The agenda (order of the day), in a one-day session, was also suspended on the request of opposition to hold discussion only related to the arrest of Shehbaz Sharif.

When contacted, PML-N's central leader Ahsan Iqbal said that they would approach the National Assembly Secretariat for the issuance of 'production order' of the leader of the opposition.
