SHC issues notice to NAB on Durrani's bail plea.
KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday issued a notice to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) while hearing the bail plea of Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani.A two-member bench of SHC heard the bail plea and ordered the NAB to submit its reply by April 24.Durrani filed a petition seeking bail and challenging arrest in many corruption inquiries including alleged embezzlement of public funds and illegal appointments in government departments.
The NAB had arrested him from Islamabad in February this year.Durrani pleaded that his arrest was illegal and in violation of the law.
