SHC approves pre-arrest bail of Sharjeel Memon.

KARACHI -- Fearing of his possible arrest after the opening of new inquiries against him by the National Accountability Bureau, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and former Sindh minister Sharjeel Memon on Friday filed a pre-arrest bail petition in the Sindh High Court (SHC). In his petition, Memon stated that two references were already under proceedings against him and it came into his knowledge that NAB was now holding a secret inquiry against him. The petitioner stated that he had no details regarding the new inquiry.
