Shazad Ali Malik appointed Chairman sub-committee on RPSC.

ISLAMABAD -- Governor Punjab Eng Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman has appointed Chairman Pakistan Hi Tech Hybrid Seed Association (PHHSA) Shahzad Ali Malik, as chairman sub-committee on Rice of Provincial Seed Committee (RPSC) and tasked to propose a viable result-oriented long-term strategy for boosting rice production in the country.

Shahzad Ali Malik expressed his gratitude to Governor for reposing trust on him assigning task to tailor a feasible plan for developing new Hitech hybrid rice seeds in the private sector, according to a press release issued here on Thursday.

He was awarded a civil award by the Government of Pakistan in recognition of his meritorious services in the field of rice for evolving first ever high-tech hybrid seed and guard agricultural research and services was the first in the country which brought hybrid rice technology from China to Pakistan in 1999 through a collaboration agreement with a top class technology provider 'Yuan Longping' high tech Agriculture Company China.
