LAHORE -- The Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre says despite additional security measures required due to the recent admission of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust chairman Imran Khan, the institution continues to serve all its patients.

'Whilst security measures had to be enhanced throughout the hospital premises, entry and exit points for patients and staff remained open. Hospital staff, including porters, who facilitate access for differently-abled patients, were deputed at all entry points, so as to ensure our patients did not face any inconvenience,' says a press release in response to a report carried by Dawn regarding inconvenience faced by patients.
