Shafqat Mahmood meets Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.

ISLAMABAD -- Minister for Federal education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood met Punjab Assembly Speaker and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Monday to remove his party's reservations.

Shafqat Mahmood and Pervaiz Elahi deliberated on the problems that PML-Q is facing concerning its alliance with the incumbent party.

The development occurred as details of the written contract between the federal government and PML-Q came forth according to which two ministries each were to be given to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's ally in Punjab and federation.

Furthermore, PML-Q would have gotten representation at district level and in different departments under the signed power-sharing formula. Other points include consultations between PTI and PML-Q over day-to-day affairs and policy making.
