Seven temples included in Sujan Singh Haveli project's PC-I.

RAWALPINDI -- Restoration of seven temples, spread over an area of 1km, will be added to the PC-I for Sujan Singh Haveli project, Commissioner retired Capt Mohammad Mehmood said.

He was attending a briefing held to discuss Sujan Haveli and Bhabra food street projects at the Rawalpindi Metropolitan Corporation (RMC).

The seven temples around Sujan Singh Haveli will be identified and restored while information about their historical status will be displayed at a prominent place, Mr Mehmood said.

RMC Chief Officer Ali Abbas Bukhari, metropolitan officers and a representative of United Nations Development Fund (UNDP) were also present.

Mr Mehmood said apart from this, a survey identified eight old buildings around Sujan Singh Haveli with antique windows and doors. The facades of these buildings will also be restored...
