Seven soldiers martyred in South Waziristan operation.

ISLAMABAD -- Seven Pak Army soldiers embraced martyrdom in exchange of fire with terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the South Waziristan area, said the media wing of the military on Wednesday.

A statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) directorate said, the security forces conducted an IBO in Asman Manza, South Waziristan district, on the reported presence of terrorists. Five terrorists were killed in the operation while during intense exchange of fire, seven soldiers also embraced shahadat, said the statement.
