Senate body on defense briefed on military situation with India & Afghanistan.

Islamabad -- The Senate Defence Committee received a comprehensive briefing on the border fencing issue with Afghanistan as well as military situation with India, both on the Line of Control and international border.

During the meeting of Senate Defence Committee, presided by Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, the Ministry of Defence, led by Secretary Defence, Lt. Gen. (R) Mian Mohammad Hilal Hussain and his team, gave a detailed briefing on the situation.

The members present asked specific questions and expressed satisfaction at the briefing and support to the Pakistan armed forces' efforts in their role to preserve, protect and promote Pakistan's territorial integrity and national borders on the Western and Eastern sides.
