Senate approves ECL amendment bill.

ISLAMABAD -- The senate has approved the bill pertaining to amendment in the Exit Control List (ECL). It was stated in the content of the bill that the government will give reasons before placing name on the ECL.

It was said in the bill passed by the senate that the concerned person or institution will be informed in 24 hours after placing their name on ECL and the decision will have to be taken in 15 days on the appeal of the person placed on the ECL otherwise his name will be struck from the ECL. The senate unanimously approved the bill.
