Centre for BRI and China Studies-Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies in collaboration with COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus organized a Seminar on "Belt and Road Initiative: Regional Connectivity and Beyond" wherein the speakers were of the view that Pakistan has all the desired potentials to get the maximum benefits out of the emerging regional connectivity initiatives including China Pakistan Economic Corridor - the crown of Belt and Road Initiatives. Ms. Farhat Asif, Founder President, Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies, in her welcome remarks said that having all weather friendship, Pakistan and China continue to work together come what may. During the Seminar Prof. Dr. Iqbal Chawla, Dean Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Punjab was of the view that as Pakistanis we need to gather all forces to play our constructive role in bringing the peace and prosperity in the region especially youth of this country.

He was of the view that students must focus on their education and learn new innovative skills for making the participation of Pakistan in CPEC and BRI productive and meaningful.
