School guard held over girl's rape.

TOBA TEK SINGH -- Police claim to have arrested a security guard of a government girls middle school in Chak 771-GB (Pirmahal) for allegedly raping a Class VII girl inside the school.

The complainant stated in his first information report registered with Arrouti police on Friday that his 13-year-old daughter was not going to school for three days and not disclosing the reason. When he and his wife asked her what was wrong, she revealed that the school's guard had raped her with a knife to her throat.

The medical examination conducted at Arrouti Rural Health Centre confirmed rape with the girl.

District police spokesperson Attaullah claimed that the suspect had been arrested.
