SC summons heads of 67 institutions for not cooperating in degrees verification.

LAHORE -- The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday summoned heads of 67 institutions for Tuesday over not extending cooperation in verification of degrees of pilots, cabin crew and others.

The bench headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar passed the orders while hearing a case regarding re-verification of degrees of pilots and cabin crew of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and others.

During the proceedings, the court was apprised on behalf of Civil Aviation Authority that seven pilots had been grounded and show cause notices were issued to 91 cabin crew over fake degrees.
