Russia desires strong trade ties with Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD -- Russian Federation Trade and Industry Minister Denis Manturov called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday. The minister briefed the PM on a range of subjects discussed during the 6th session of Pakistan-Russia Intergovernmental Commission held earlier in the day. He affirmed Russia's desire for stronger trade ties with Pakistan and agreed that a huge potential existed for Russian investors in various sectors of Pakistan. Manturov also conveyed special greetings of President Putin, which were warmly reciprocated by the PM.
