Rs56.6 million judiciary-related projects approved.

PESHAWAR -- The Departmental Development Working Party (DDWP) at Peshawar High Court approved different development projects related to judiciary across the province to the tune of Rs56.642 million.

A meeting of DDWP was held with PHC Registrar Khawaja Wajihuddin in the chair through video conferencing to discuss estimates for improvement of the infrastructure of judicial complexes in districts and tehsils.

The district and sessions judges/senior civil judges concerned along with executive engineers of communication and works department joined the meeting from their respective offices through video link whereas representative of the finance and planning and development departments attended the meeting in the high court.

The meeting considered and approved different proposals of maintenance and repairing and development projects worth Rs56.642 million.

Schemes include repair of barrooms and judicial complexes

Major projects include repair of barroom at judicial complex Chitral; rehabilitation and beautification of tehsil complex Chota Lahore in Swabi; construction of bachelor hostel for judicial officers in Dir Upper, construction of library for bar room in judicial complex Buner, repair of judicial complexes in Swabi, Bajaur, Lakki Marwat, Peshawar, Khyber and Mansehra.
