Rs500 million for wildlife projects.

LAHORE -- In the 2020-21 Annual Development Programme (ADP), 12 ongoing wildlife development schemes have got estimated Rs500 million.

The mega project of 10 Billion Tree Tsunami Programme Wildlife Component is under execution on a co-sharing basis with the federal government.

In addition, other major initiatives of the sector are Green Pakistan Programme, Revival of Wildlife Resources in Punjab, Improvement and Development of Jallo Safari, Lahore, Improvement and Development of Chashma Barrage Wetland Biodiversity and establishment of a zoo at Sargodha.

In information and culture, four ongoing initiatives and one new scheme will be completed in 2020-21 and Rs200 million has been allocated in the ADP.
