Robbers strike at seven places in Pindi.

RAWALPINDI -- Robbers struck at seven places in the city and made off with cash, jewellery and mobile phones.

Usman Bashir complained to Naseerabad police that he along with his wife and a niece was returning home from a market when four motorcycle riders snatched gold rings, bangles and earrings from the women and escaped.

Zafarul Haq lodged a complaint with the same police that he was going to deliver Rs45,000 to a man when two motorcyclists forced him to stop his van. As he stopped the vehicle, the armed men snatched the cash and sped off.

Hamid Hussain was shot and injured by two robbers in the Saddar Barooni police area. He stated in the FIR that two bike riders intercepted him on Adiala Road and snatched Rs40,000. The robbers also shot him in the arm.
