Rly cops suspended for beating doctor.

LAHORE -- Pakistan Railways (PR) Police Deputy Inspector General Shahzad Akbar on Friday suspended from duty all those police officials involved in fighting with the PR Multan division hospital medical officer and her son on the issue of car parking.

The DIG also constituted a fact finding committee to probe into the matter and submit its report as soon as possible, according to a spokesperson for the PR.

The action was taken after the footage went viral online showing exchange of words between police officials and Dr Sadaf Batool and his son, which turned into a physical brawl.

Dr Batool's husband Dr Muhammad Irfan lodged a complaint about the issue with the police.
