Resumption of work on projects promised.

BAJAUR -- Caretaker minister for communication and works Mohammad Ali Shah on Sunday promised resumption of work on various stalled projects in Bajaur tribal district.

The minister stated this while talking to a delegation of elders, political and religious leaders and traders during a visit to the district.

He said the caretaker government was concerned over the stoppage of work on different development schemes in the district.

However, Mr Shah said the government was making all-out efforts to resume work on all the schemes to benefit the people. The minister was informed that 'corruption, mismanagement, bad governance and violation of merit' had marred Bajaur's development.

Later, the officials of the district administration and other departments briefed the minister about the status of the ongoing development schemes.
