Report- Webinar on ''Post Dushanbe SCO Summit 2021 Outcomes, Regional Complexities and Way Forward." organized by Centre for Shanghai Cooperation Organization Studies- Institute of Peace and, Diplomatic Studies- IPDS and Pakistan-SCO Friendship Forum.

The Centre for Shanghai Cooperation Organization Studies- Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies- IPDS and Pakistan-SCO Friendship Forum is hosting a webinar on ''Post Dushanbe SCO Summit 2021 Outcomes, Regional Complexities and Way Forward." The Webinar is aimed at understanding the outcomes of the recently held SCO Summit of Heads of State in Dushanbe. While moderating the session the Ms Farhat Asif, President of Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies, on behalf of IPDS, welcomed all of the guests and attendees to the Webinar where they discussed the Post Dushanbe SCO Summit 2021 Outcomes, Regional Complexities and Way Forward. Our mission has always been to promote linkages at political, economic, trade, cultural, education, and business levels by building connections amongst the communities from across the globe. She highlighted the importance of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Post-US Afghanistan and its rehabilitation. Going forward, she explained the importance and work done by the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies and the Diplomatic Insight as a Think and Do Tank for regional connectivity, especially in the case of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization since 2015.

The IPDS and TDI, prior to Pakistan becoming the Permanent member of SCO in 2017, established the Pakistan- SCO friendship forum for enhanced and smooth relations between the member countries. Following the introductory moderation, the honourable guests spoke and delivered their insight about the Post Dushanbe SCO Summit 2021 Outcomes, Regional Complexities and Way Forward. Mr Naveed Shahzad, the Director of SCO Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, congratulating the IPDS and TDI for holding an impressive webinar about the Post Dushanbe SCO summit, said that over the past 20 years, SCO has grown into an influential organization: aimed at strengthening good neighbourliness, building political trust, striving for regional peace and security, developing economic interdependence and increasing humanitarian and people to people contacts.

As a forward-looking organization, SCO is cognizant of the emerging threats to regional peace and security and preparing itself for a joint and coordinated response.
