Regional driving licence offices set up in Khyber.

KHYBER -- The transport department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has established regional driving licence offices in Khyber district to facilitate the local people.

Speaking at an awareness session in Landi Kotal here the other day, assistant director, transport, Hadi Hussain said that the facility had been extended to some selected regions of merged districts to facilitate the local residents, especially drivers of both heavy and light vehicles to acquire driving licences in their respective districts.

He said that prior to establishment of these offices the people from merged districts would visit Peshawar or other major cities of the province to get their driving licences.
