Recovered vehicles returned to owners.

RAWALPINDI -- Police claimed to have recovered 20 stolen vehicles and more than 100 motorcycles worth Rs80 million during the last one-and-a-half months and returned to their owners on Friday.

In a ceremony, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sohail Habib Tajik and City Police Officer Mohammad Ahsan Younas handed over the keys of the recovered vehicles to their owners at the Police Lines on Friday.

Briefing the media, the RPO said police were committed to controlling street crimes and vehicle theft in Rawalpindi.

'Developing good relations with media, people and giving respect to them in police stations is our part of policing,' RPO Tajik said, adding 'All our efforts would be made to provide protection to the lives and property of the people.'
