Recent rains raise level at Rawal Lake.

ISLAMABAD -- Recent rainfall has helped water level at Rawal Lake reach almost to the maximum level of 1,752 feet and more water continues to pour in through the streams coming from the hills.

An official of the Punjab Irrigation department said that the cloudy weather has reduced water evaporation which also helped in maintaining the water level at the lake.

On May 12, Islamabad recorded 15 mm rainfall and Murree 13 mm.
