RDA seals site offices of illegal housing scheme at Chakri Road.

Rawalpindi -- The Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering Directorate of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has sealed the site offices of an illegal housing scheme CBR Town Phase-II located at Chakri Road, informed a spokesman on Wednesday.

He said that on the directives of the Director General (DG) RDA Nadeem Ahmed Abro, the authority's operations against illegal housing schemes and unauthorised constructions are underway in full swing to control illegal development of housing projects.

The Directorate is taking strict action against illegal housing schemes. Director MP and TE RDA said that under Punjab Private Housing schemes and Land Subdivision Rules 2010, notices have been issued to the owner of above mentioned illegal housing scheme.

The MP and TE Directorate RDA's staff including superintendent scheme, scheme inspector and others with the assistance of the police from police station concerned carried out operation against above mentioned illegal housing scheme.
