RDA body to check whether societies fulfilled NOC criteria.

RAWALPINDI -- The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Friday decided to form a technical committee which would ascertain whether or not the housing schemes approved by the Rawalpindi Metropolitan Corporation (RMC) and District Council have fulfilled the criteria set by the Punjab government.

After the directions of the Punjab government, the civic bodies handed over the record of housing societies to RDA and now, it will form technical committee to conduct survey of all housing societies to check whether they fulfilled the criteria set by the Punjab government. The technical committee will also formulate terms of reference (ToR) for these housing schemes so RDA will give no-objection certificates.

It was decided in the 60th meeting of the Governing Body of RDA which was held with RDA Chairman Tariq Mehmood Murtaza in the chair.

RDA Director General Saif Anwar Jappa informed the meeting about the annual development plans of RDA and Wasa.
