Rallies taken out to celebrate Quaid-i-Azam's birth anniversary.

SUKKUR -- The district administration holds a rally to mark the birth anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah here on Wednesday.-Dawn

NAWABSHAH: To celebrate the birth anniversary of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah rallies and processions were taken out in different cities of Sindh, including Nawabshah, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kandhkot-Kashmore, on Wednesday.

Activists of the Pakistan Zindabad Movement took out a rally on the occasion in Nawabshah.

The rally led by Awais Dahiri and Zubair Ahmed started from DC Office Road and after marching on different thoroughfares ended at the Nawabshah Press Club.

The rally was joined by Commissioner of Shaheed BenazA!irabad Syed Mohsin Shah, Commandant Indus Rangers Brigadier Mohammed Ramzan, SSP Tanveer Hussain Tunio and others.

Commissioner Shah said that the Quaid-i-Azam was the greatest leader of the 20th century, who had a vision and provided a safe homeland to Muslims of the subcontinent.

The participants cut a birthday cake and chanted slogans of Pakistan Zindabad.

In Sukkur, a rally was taken out which culminated at Lab-i-Mehran, which was led by Deputy Commissioner Ghulam Murtaza Shaikh and Additional Commissioner Sukkur-I Akhtar Qureshi and attended by deputy mayor of Sukkur, commandant of Rangers, police, officials of district administration and people belonging to civil society and different walks of life.
