Rallies held in Sindh towns to voice solidarity with Kashmiris.

LARKANA -- Several religious and political parties and civil society groups took out rallies and held demonstrations in a number of Sindh towns on Sunday to express solidarity with Pak Army and people of occupied Kashmir and condemn new Indian citizenship law.

In Larkana, local leaders and activists of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl, National Peace Council of Pakistan, Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, Larkana Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other social and political organisations participated in the processions.

The participants in the rallies, carrying national and Kashmiri flags, gathered at the main gate of Jinnahbagh where leaders made speeches and lashed out at India for violation of United Nations resolutions in Kashmir.

They slammed newly-introduced citizenship law in India and said that Muslims were being threatened to leave the country. Indian violations on the Line of Control would not be tolerated, they said.

They demanded India lift curfew on Kashmir, rescind anti-Muslim laws and give Kashmiris their right to plebiscite. Amid slogans of 'long live Pakistan' they burnt an effigy of Indian prime minister at the end of the protest.
