Rain likely in Punjab areas from Jan 11.

LAHORE -- The Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Monday predicted rain and snow in different areas of the province from Wednesday to Friday.

A PDMA press release, quoting the Meteorological Department, says the western winds will affect the areas of North Balochistan on Jan 10. The winds will enter at night and will affect the upper regions of the country on Jan 11.

The department says from Jan 11 to 13, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Murree. There is also a possibility of heavy snowfall in Murree this time, likely to block the roads and disrupt the movement of vehicles, it adds.
