According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 74% of Pakistanis report being able to recite the Quran easily or with some ease.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, "Can you recite the Quran?" In response to this question, 58% said that they can recite it easily, 16% said they can do so with some ease, 22% said that they cannot recite it, while 4% did not know or did not wish to respond.
