Qatar economy grows 2.7pc in q1.

The Qatari economy achieved a real growth rate of 2.7 percent during the first quarter of the current year compared to the same period in 2022, according to official figures. Data from the Planning and Statistics Authority indicates that the quarterly Gross Domestic Product (GDP) estimates at constant prices reached around QR170.1bn in the first quarter of 2023, compared to the revised first quarter estimate for 2022, which stood at QR165.6bn.
