PVF seeks to hold Super League in December.

LAHORE -- The Pakistan Volleyball Federation is looking at holding the inaugural edition of its Super League in December, its chairman Chaudhry Mohammad Yaqoob said here on Tuesday.

With the PVF inking a year-long sponsorship deal with Engro Corporation, Yaqoob said that the Super Leagie would be a 'game-changer' for the sport in the country.

'Not only would it provide players an opportunity to earn more money, it would also allow them to play with foreign players.' Yaqoob said.

Currently ranked eighth in Asia and 39th in the world, Yaqoob said that the PVF was eyeing qualification to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
