Punjab to provide 64,500 metric tons wheat to Balochistan: CM Elahi.

LAHORE -- Chief Minister Punjab Chaudry Pervaiz Elahi has said the Punjab government would provide 64,500 metric tons wheat to the rain and flood affected areas of Balochistan.

These views were expressed by him while talking to Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai, Minister for Food, Balochistan who called on him here on Wednesday. Expressing concern over the dearth of wheat in Balochistan, he said that wheat would be provided to Balochistan on cost rate basis, adding that government of Balochistan would be extended assistance by the government of Punjab to overcome nutrition deficiency in Balochistan.
