According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, public opinion on whether Pakistan Day (23rd March) was celebrated with more fervour and passion this year or last year is equally divided.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, "Some people say that Pakistan Day was celebrated with more fervour and passion this year compared to last year, while others say there was not much difference. What is your opinion?" In response, 46% said it was celebrated with more fervour and passion this year, whereas 47% said it was celebrated with more fervour and passion last year. 7% said that they did not know or wish to respond.
