PTM's Gulalai Ismail booked over 'anti-state speech'.

ISLAMABAD -- A First Information Report (FIR) was filed against Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) leader Gulalai Ismail under the jurisdiction of Islamabad's Shehzad Town Police Station on Thursday for making 'anti-state speeches and instigating people against the state institutions'.

According to the FIR, the PTM leader tried to invoke 'anti-state sentiments' in the Pashtun community in relation to the rape and murder of minor Farishta. The FIR was filed under the anti-terrorism act.

Farishta's body was discovered from forest two days ago and later shifted to the Polyclinic for post-mortem. Her family, which belongs to Mohmand Agency, said they had tried to file a missing person report with the police on May 15, but it took police until May 19 to register the FIR and, even then, a proper search...
