PTI protests 'heinous crimes' by PPP leaders to win Nagarparkar election.

MITHI -- Several hundred workers and supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf on Sunday took to the streets in the hilly town of Nagarparkar to register their protest kidnapping of torture its candidates contesting the local government elections in different parts of Sindh. They also condemned police for implicating PTI candidates, their family members and party fellows in fake cases to facilitate pre-poll rigging in favour of the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party.

Enraged PTI activists and supporters marched on different streets of Nagarparkar and assembled outside the office of the returning officer (RO) where they held a demonstration for several hours. They kept raising slogans against the local PPP leaders and police.

Speaking to local reporters, PTI activists said that the ruling party through the area police had made lives of its political opponents miserable.

Arbab Anwar Jabbar, Mohammad Rahim Khoso, Hero Kolhi and others lashed out at PPP lawmakers from the desert region for getting PTI candidates and their supporters implicated in 'false and fabricated' cases in order to keep them away from the elections.

They alleged that MPA Qasim Siraj Soomro, Special Assistant to the CM Advocate Veerji Kolhi and some other PPP leaders had let loose a reign of terror on their opponents through Tharparkar police. 'Registration of FIRs against estranged PPP leader Abdul Ghani Khoso and his close aides has exposed the ruling party leaders,' they said, adding that one of the independent candidates, Jagsi Kolhi, was kidnapped and taken to the Soomro House, where he was forced to retire in favour of his PPP...
