PTI moves court for permission to hold rally on July 2.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday moved Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking directions for deputy commissioner (DC) Islamabad to grant them permission to hold rally at Parade Ground on the evening of July 2.

Former prime minister Imran Khan announced that his party would hold a public gathering in Islamabad against the coalition government. The petition was filed by Islamabad PTI president Ali Nawaz Awan.

The petitioner has cited Minister of Interior, Inspector General of police (IG) and DC, Islamabad as respondents.
