PTI leader regrets bail for Nawaz.

LAHORE -- In the backdrop of the bail granted to former premier Nawaz Sharif on medical grounds, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhry has expressed solidarity with countless inmates languishing in jails across the country.

These inmates, he said, were not even being offered minimum medical treatment.

Speaking at a news conference here on Friday, Mr Chaudhry regretted that the PML-N leader had been granted bail despite the fact that he was availing himself of the best possible treatment and eating home-made food and living in a VVIP room.

On the other hand, he said, only three per cent of the inmates get access to hospitals inside jails, while only one per cent get treatment from hospitals outside jails.
