On 21-23 June 2021, Kazakhstan chaired a meeting of members of the Commission of Senior Officials in Charge of Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) via videoconference. 15 June 2021: SCO celebrates its 20th anniversary

A gala evening dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation was held at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing on 15 June 2021. Pragmatism and Reality" On 11 June 2021, a women's academic conference, "Women's Perspective on the SCO: Pragmatism and Reality," was held in a hybrid format in Shanghai, China. The conference was sponsored by the Shanghai Institute for International Studies.
