Protests continue in Golarchi, Matli towns.

BADIN -- Enraged protesters, whose houses were demolished during ongoing drive against encroachments on dykes of irrigation canals in Golarchi and Matli towns, continued their agitation on Sunday.

They told local journalists that they were not only being rendered homeless but were also being deprived of their livelihood as hundreds of shops which were their only sources of income had also been pulled down during the drive.

PPP MPA Basheer Ahmed Halepoto on Saturday offered his land for the rehabilitation of the affectees. 'I offer my farmland near Falkara town to all those being displaced,' he said.
