Protest against police for 'killing' kabaddi player.

TOBA TEK SINGH -- Scores of women and men relatives of known kabaddi player Muhammad Aslam staged a protest at Faisalabad's District Council Chowk on Tuesday against the Satiana police for allegedly killing him in a fake encounter.

They told reporters that deceased was arrested a month ago at the behest of his opponents and later killed three days ago in a fake encounter. They demanded a probe into the killing.

The Civil Lines deputy superintendent of police held talks with protesters and assured them that justice will be provided to them over which they ended their protest.
