Probe widened against KSA-based Pak embassy diplomats.

ISLAMABAD -- Official investigation against conduct of former Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Raja Ali Ejaz and his six colleagues with Pakistani community is underway and widened with opinion of Pakistani citizens being sought through special questionnaires, regarding the performance of Pakistan embassy, The Nation learnt.

The sources said that a proforma with the name of Abu Akif, the head of the PM Inspection Commission, has been received by Pakistani community leaders in the kingdom and asked to submit it through email, whatsapp or any other digital format. The Pakistani community has been asked how many times they have visited the Pakistan embassy and whether they were satisfied with the response and services of the embassy.

The action by the Prime Minister office came three weeks before the scheduled visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Saudi Arabia from May 7.
