Probe ordered into uplift schemes in Shangla.

SHANGLA -- The district administration has ordered probe into development schemes over slow pace of work and use of substandard material.

A notification issued by the additional deputy commissioner, Shangla, said that on the directives of information minister Shaukat Yousafzai he had ordered an inquiry into the ongoing schemes in which according to the minister substandard material was being used.

It noted that some of the schemes of annual development programme were yet to be initiated despite lapse of over two years.
