Private school teachers.

LOCKDOWNS have created financial woes for all segments of our society. But private school teachers have been hit the most by the current situation as they have not been paid by their employers since March, or in some cases since February.

Owing to the economic fallout of the lockdown, parents, who are considered ATM machines by private school owners, are reluctant to pay fees. They argue that the full fee payment despite the lockdown is unjustified as they are also affected financially.

On the other hand, school administrations, which are least bothered about teachers' pay, claim they are unable to pay staff salaries because of what they claim parents' non-cooperation.
