President confers Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Mily) on Jordanian army general.

ISLAMABAD -- President Dr. Arif Alvi has conferred Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) on Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Jordanian Armed Forces, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity in recognition of his efforts to further strengthen the defence relations between Pakistan and Jordan.

The investiture ceremony was held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr here yesterday. Talking to the visiting dignitary, after the investiture ceremony, the President said Pakistan attaches great importance to its ties with Jordan and wants to maintain mutually beneficial cooperation with the brotherly country in all fields of mutual interest.
