President calls for providing congenial environment to merged tribal districts of KP.

ISLAMABAD -- President Dr. Arif Alvi has stressed for facilitating and providing a congenial business and investment environment to the newly merged tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa erstwhile FATA for enhancement of trade and business activities in the country.

The President expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Bajaur Chamber of Commerce and Industry that called on him in Islamabad on Monday.

The delegation apprised the President of the problems being faced by the trader and business community of Bajaur. It was informed that the business community of Bajaur is facing difficulties in getting loans from commercial banks. They also underlined the need to open trading points with Afghanistan to enhance bilateral trade with neighbouring countries.

Dr Arif Alvi assured the delegation that their issues will be conveyed to the concerned departments for redressal.
