Preparation for Karigar Mela in full swing.

JOHI -- The preparations for Karigar Mela (artisan festival) are in full swing as artisan, representatives of civil society organizations and families eagerly prepare to participate in mega event at Karachi. Ali Muhammad Kallar and Jai Parkash Program Managers, TRDP said that 'Thardeep Rural Development Program (TRDP) and Digital Service Providers are collaborating to provide platform to artisans along with their products from Thar, Kachho and Kohistan to showcase their products at the Mela and this would connect the artisans' beautiful work to the market and create employment and profit opportunities to this sector with high potential' They further said that 200,000 poor Households from above categories are being served under EU and government supported SUCCESS Program and this event would further promote and link the artisans to market' .

Mela is to be held on January 28-29, 2020 at beach luxury hotel.
