PPP, PML-N refuse to show documents to PTI.

ISLAMABAD -- Both Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) once again refused to show documents to the ruling party in foreign funding case against them. During the foreign funding case, heard by a two-member bench of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday, the counsel of PML-N Jehangir Jadoon and lawyer of PPP Ali Ahmad Abbasi appeared before the bench. Meanwhile, the petitioner and Minister of State Farrukh Habib also appeared before ECP. In his arguments, the PML-N counsel Jehangir Jadoon argued that the petitioner despite directives of scrutiny committee, failed to provide evidence regarding PML-N's foreign funding. He stated that petitioner wanted to check record of PML-N which was provided by State Bank of Pakistan.
