Power outage perturbs FBISE exam candidates.

TAXILA -- Students appearing in the intermediate exams under the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad are facing hardship due to the prolonged power outages.

Loadshedding coupled with the scorching heat is badly affecting studies and preparation for the exams. Thousands of students are appearing in the exams in Attock, Taxila and Wah.

The students outside various centres lamented that the government had completely failed in controlling the crisis as the country witnessed the worst ever outages.

'We have to face two hours of outages during the three hours of the examination,' said Bushra Perveen, a student of a private college. 'My concentration was badly disturbed due to continuous sweating and I could not write answers properly,' said another student, Syeda Zahura Naqvi.
