Poultry traders protest against police for 'demanding bribe'.

LAKKI MARWAT -- The poultry traders demonstrated in Bannu city on Tuesday against the Punjab police for demanding bribe from them for transporting chicken.

The protesters converged in front of the press club, where leaders of the poultry traders' association, Laal Shebaz and Hidayatullah, addressed the gathering.

They said many poultry traders had to use alternative routes to enter Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Punjab to avoid interception by the police. They asked the Punjab government to stop traders' maltreatment at the hands of police.
