Poor facilities in Wah hospital concerns minister.

TAXILA -- Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid expressed serious concerns over poor service delivery, paucity of facilities and poor management at the Wah General Hospital.

During her visit to the hospital on Sunday, she reviewed facilities being provided to the patients. She visited different wards and inquired about the patients.

Without informing the district and tehsil administration and the health department authorities, the minister arrived in the hospital where patients piled up complaints about shortage of medicines, facilities and staff.

The hospital was completed at a cost of around Rs1.7 billion by the previous PML-N government.
